Stem Cell Harvesting & Isolation
STEM CELL HARVESTING & ISOLATION
16 AMA/PRA Category 1™ Credits
Autologous stem cell therapy in the field of regenerative medicine involves harvesting fat, isolating the stem and regenerative cells, and administering the cells back to the patient. Stem cell therapy can be used to treat a variety of medical applications such as orthopedic, cosmetic, hematologic, neurologic, pulmonary, and cardiac. The course curriculum consists of home study materials, and two days didactic, clinical, and laboratory experience.
Target Audience: Physicians
GOALS & OBJECTIVES:
- Review basic concepts of cell biology
